Facebook is going to release its crypto-currency, which is meant to be much more stable than other crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin. In order to achieve stability, it will use the technique of linking the crypto-token to a basket of currencies as Dr Jean-Marc Seigneur, director of the CAS blockchain, presented in October 2017 at the International Telecommunication Union standard conference on digital currency with co-authors Hélie d'Hautefort et Giuseppe Ballocchi.
